Sport for Global Climate Impact

Climate change is one of the biggest concerns for today’s youth - with 78% of young people worried about its impact, yet 70% of teachers say they don’t feel equipped to teach it.

That’s why we’re on a mission to inspire the next generation of innovators through the power of sport. Transforming world-class sporting moments into real climate learning and action.

The #PowerUp Challenge

Building on our Portable Renewable Energy Installation, which has taken our team 100% off-grid since the start of Season 4 with Low Carbon, we launched the #PowerUp Challenge with Goodwall to bring renewable energy to life for young people worldwide.

The Impact So Far

  • 4.7M young people reached
  • 250K+ directly engaged
  • 239 qualified applications
  • Participants from 10+ developing countries
  • 11 winners received mentorship with Low Carbon experts + a $500 prize

What’s Next

In September 2025, the next Goodwall Challenge will focus on Biodiversity - stay tuned for details!
