A Dynamic Global Partnership

The Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team has welcomed J.P. Morgan, one of the world’s most respected financial institutions, into a new global partnership. The collaboration renews a relationship spanning over 15 years, dating back to J.P. Morgan’s support of Emirates GBR  CEO Sir Ben Ainslie’s Olympic campaigns.

Sydney - Australia

With operations in over 75 locations worldwide, J.P. Morgan is uniquely positioned to assist clients wherever their ambitions take them. The partnership with the Emirates GBR SailGP Team provides a dynamic platform to showcase this global reach, with J.P. Morgan activating its presence across all 14 SailGP events in the 2025 SailGP Season.

The 2025 Rolex SailGP Championship sees 12 teams race at iconic locations across five continents, competing in identical high-speed F50 foiling catamarans. Reaching speeds of over 100 km/h (60 mph), the sport’s elite athletes are battling for national pride, personal glory, and a share of the US$12.8 million prize pool.

J.P. Morgan’s deep-rooted connection to sailing dates back to the 19th century, with founders J. Pierpont Morgan and his son, J.P. Morgan Jr, who were passionate yachtsmen and influential figures in the sailing world. J.P. Morgan was a New York Yacht Club member and owned several racing yachts.

Their sailing legacy continued with Sir Ben Ainslie, having supported his Olympic success in Beijing 2008 and his historic home triumph at London 2012. J.P. Morgan also played a pivotal role in Ben’s America’s Cup career, serving as title partner for his British Team during the America’s Cup World Series Events in 2012/13.

Emirates GBR CEO and Co-owner, Sir Ben Ainslie commented:

“This collaboration reflects J.P. Morgan’s ongoing commitment to the sport of sailing and acknowledges SailGP as a premier platform for sports entertainment, excellence, innovation, and teamwork—alongside their other sporting partnerships, including the US Open. This partnership is also personally significant to me, given the close relationships formed throughout my racing career. I look forward to many more successes together.”

Adam Tejpul, Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan International Private Bank:

“This partnership renews J.P. Morgan's relationship with Sir Ben of over 15 years. As the world’s most decorated Olympic sailor and Emirates GBR CEO, Ben inspires on and off the water and we're excited for what we can achieve together!"

Steve Nutbeam, Chief Marketing Officer of J.P. Morgan International Private Bank

"We’re thrilled to be partnering with Sir Ben Ainslie and Emirates GBR. At J.P. Morgan, our ties to sailing date back to the 19th century, and now In 2025, SailGP redefines the sport with thrilling races and cutting-edge tech."

J.P. Morgan’s presence began in a victorious manner last weekend, with their brand displayed on the aft outer hull of Emirates GBR’s F50 race boat as driver Dylan Fletcher flew across the Podium Final finish line at the KPMG Australian Grand Prix, securing the team’s first event win of the 2025 season.
